One visitor enjoyed the pairing of juicy fruit, smooth rare-cheese cream and a pleasantly textured tart crust in the grapefruit and cheese tart. On the same visit, they also ordered a tart with almond cream, berries and apricot jam, pairing it with Wiener coffee. One tart makes fruit’s freshness the focus; the other brings together nuts and jam. Choosing between them at the display case is part of the pleasure.
Another visitor took home the chocolate-banana and mandarin tart, and liked the combination of its firm crust and custard. Someone who brought home a seasonal fruit tart found that the fruit took centre stage and the sweetness was restrained. For a café break, coffee is available hot or iced, alongside Earl Grey and Darjeeling tea. Iced tea is Earl Grey only. Café latte can be flavoured with vanilla, caramel or hazelnut. Takeout is available, so you can enjoy a tart and drink in the café space or take treats with you. Free parking is listed, though one visitor noted that parking could be difficult.
